Pregnancy and motherhood are easily one of the most life-changing events that could happen to a woman. And it is truly one of the most beautiful.
Capturing the beauty, strength, and joy of this time through the art of photography is something I am so passionate about and I can't wait to photograph you.
The Process
When to Book
The best time to book your maternity session is between 29 and 35 weeks. You will be fairly mobile at this time and have a beautiful belly. However, if your schedule doesn't fit within this timeframe, let me know and we can work within your timeline. For motherhood sessions, anytime is a good time to book however, definitely think about what stage your baby is at. Are they a newborn? Can they hold their head up? Can they sit unassisted? The answers to these questions will determine the images we can get from our time together.
You don't need a reason.

And here's the thing: there's no single way this has to look. If you want to go bold and bright and a little extra, we'll do that. If you want something quieter with just you, stripped back, soft and unguarded we'll do that too. Both are beautiful. Both are valid. This is entirely, completely yours.
You don't have to justify spending this time and money on yourself. You don't have to wait until you feel ready enough, confident enough, or like you've earned it.

I spend real time on every single image. Not a preset slapped over the top and called done. Each photo is individually edited, colour corrected, and finished to a standard I'd be happy to see in a magazine.
For maternity and women's portrait sessions, that includes the kind of retouching most photographers don't offer. Temporary blemishes gone. Skin tone evened out so everything looks harmonised and natural. And if there's something specific making you hesitant to be in front of the camera - stretch marks, a scar, anything that would pull your eye every time you looked at the photo - we can talk about it. If you want it removed, I can do that. If you want it kept exactly as it is, I do that too.

Your Questions, Answered
Do I need to be “photogenic” to book a session?
Not at all! Every woman is photogenic and it’s my job to bring that out. I’ll guide you with flattering poses and angles so you feel confident and radiant.
What should I wear?
You’ll have access to my client wardrobe of elegant gowns, chic dresses, and fabrics and you can bring outfits that make you feel amazing. Together, we’ll style looks that celebrate you.
Is professional hair and makeup included?
I don’t provide it in-house, but I can recommend talented artists who specialise in creating a polished,
camera-ready look. It makes a huge difference in how you feel during your shoot.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Many women love to share the experience with a sister, daughter, or best friend as it makes the day even more fun and memorable.
